Has anyone run the hookup wire (to vehicle) through some kind of conduit under the trailer? Want to make it easier to replace on the future.

You can use split loom under the trailer. The front 7 way cord is very tough, it shouldn't need to be covered.

Here are some pics! It's also called "wire loom". I attached my trailer/taillight wiring to my frame with split loom and P clamps. The p clamps don't squish the loom/wires, so it's relatively easy to add or remove a new wire.
