Any advice on paneling nails for my 52 Fleetwood? Had a 7/8 inch twisty nail from original

You can still get twisty nails.... They are often used for flooring transitions. Mobiltec uses a palm nailer to install them which seems a good idea. I like Vikx's suggestion to just use small tasteful screws... Easier to install with tools you have.
Personally, I just glued my panels and skipped the twist nails.

I paint my screws to match the stain or finish color. They don't look that different from nails even close up...
If I were doing a true restoration to original, I'd use the nails but wouldn't enjoy it.

And today I tried Mobiltec's palm nailer idea for the first time. It is really slick, goes quickly and looks great.

Yeah I saw the twisty nails in the flooring/transition section heads seem to be a little big for paneling. May go with 1 inch beige paneling nails to keep the head smaller. Thanks for the info

Im not sure paneling nails are a good idea, the heads are rather small and have a good chance of pulling through.
