Hello All,
I’m new to the forum and am looking for some guidance. We recently purchased what I believe is a ‘62, ‘63 or ‘64 Airflyte but we can’t figure out what year it is as it had no title.
The VIN is "C5 S14838". Ross, do you know?
Thanks!!!
Tim

Welcome!
Ross hasn't been on in a while. We're hoping he's doing well.

Check the underside of the sink. It has the cast iron sink in it and it usually will have a manufacture date stamped on it. It may be a bit tough to find, as it is almost always on the back side of the sink. This will give you an approximation, even if not perfectly accurate.

Welcome!
I think it's a 61 or 62.
Ten had an excellent suggestion about the date on the sink. Also, if it has the original mirror it may be dated on the back.

Thanks all, I’m settling on either a ‘61 or ‘62 but the sink doesn’t have any legible numbers and there is no mirror.
It looks like the only way is to look at the VIN database, is there someone that has access to that?
Thanks!!!

The only way to figure the year is to go thru the data base and compare your numbers with a similar trailer. In other words, if you find an Airflyte with a slightly lower number and another with a little higher, your year will be revealed. Ross is no longer logging on here. If you come close, please post what you've found as it will help everybody.
