Does anyone know of a source for the concave style welt above or something close?

Hi, Have you tried www.vintagetrailergaskets.com/ ? Contact info is on the home page. Robert answers the phone and returns emails quickly. Maybe try an internet search using "vinyl cove molding". Cheers, Rod

I took the term "vinyl cove molding" from Larry's post on the previous page. It seemed like a good search parameter to use. Larry has been in construction and trailers for a long time and I figured his terminology would be a good place to start. Rod

Cove molding is still available but most of it is quite a bit wider. You might look for wood or metal molding. I've seen pretty narrow in metal.

Search for "cove welt", "cove welting", or "cove gimp". Found some on that jungle website... Whitney

Finally having some restoration work done on the Pathfinder. The walls do have factory insulation in them that is not in horrible shape so I'm looking for opinions on whether to reuse it or the person doing the work recommended using a high density 250 foam board. he said he can reuse the original insulation if I choose to. Just my decision. I like to keep things as original as possible within reason.

Looking for opinions. I was told that the refrigerator is not original to the camper because it sits quite a bit higher than the top of the counter?

That may be the original stove. I know it sits in front of the back splash, but where else would the stove go. Is that stove part of the fridge assembly as a unit? Also, is it a 3- way stove or just electric? Cheers,
Rod

The person doing some restoration work for me just thinks that the stove / fridge is not original to the camper because it sits so high above the countertop height. He thinks the burners on the stove would sit at about the same height as the top of the counter.
