Hi Drake and Welcome!
What a cool little trailer. Hard to tell what it is but the paint pattern could give some clues if you can find a similar one.
The ZATS on the tongue might mean Zephyr, Zipper or Zimmer. Good luck!

very similar to my Lakewood. What do the cabinets above the dinette look like? Are there any anchors anywhere? I heard/saw that most Lakewoods had anchors up on the cabinets although mine doesn't and neither did either of the 2 I have found since. But has the same type skin and the kitchen is the same.

Thanks for the replies vikx, kirkadie, and lovnvintage. Not only don't I know the make and year but, there is no title for it either. It's going to be a pain to get out of where it is and the entire front end is rotted out and I'm sure there is more rot on the roof and rear. So the only way I would grab this one is if I can get a title. That should solve the make and year mystery. Then I would have to convince myself this one is worth all the work.
It doesn't have any anchors on the cabinets, the dinette seating and table have been pulled out and a futon bed put in its place:(

If you are up to the restoration it looks like it would make a fantastic trailer. But be sure you can get a title for it before you spend a dime on it. Then have fun rebuilding it.

I've seen that paint scheme before but just can't seem to pull it out of my head at the moment. The skin pattern, the windows and the Sputnik Formica pattern along with the hardware and appliances all point to a 58 to a 62 somewhere. Most likely early 60s.
If you've really studied up on all this stuff you will note that many of the restores done on this site are "frame up" restores, so the rot would mean nothing to anyone who wanted to get into a project that deep. The important thing is to get it absolutely IDd and to make sure all the parts are there. Cabinets can be rebuilt so it looks like you have the main items needed for a good restoral. The VIN does not always help in identifying the trailer. Research in the matter will pay off eventually though.
If it has as much rot as you say it does and it's going to be as hard as you say it is to remove then I would offer no more than $300 on it and that would be with a guarantee of being able to title it. If you find you can not title it, then it's a storage bin or a play house for your kids.
More interior photos may help.

I called the DMV here in Utah today and gave them the Utah license plate number on the trailer and the Vin and they have no record of the trailer. Which they told me that doesnt mean they can't find it, all the info needs to go to a differnet department and through a different process. If they cant find anything on it then they would issue a title but if they cant find anything then it really doesn't help me with identifing it. I have a few more interior photos to share. It is missing the water tank, a gaslight, and water spout as far as I could tell.
I think that the roof may have leaked causing some water stains because it has been painted. It
Thanks for everyones advice. I have done a lot of reading and research about vintage trailers the last few weeks. I hoped that research would have helped me find the answers I need for this trailer but have been stumped so far. So in the meantime I'll keep looking.

Well it is a replica of my 59 Lakewood. The upper cabinets are exact even with mirror and the wardrobe. I have had pictures sent of a 58 and a 59 from other people selling them. One is an exact match with the same formica as mine, but different from this one and the other I think had this pattern it was the 58. the only others I have seen is like a 52 and much longer model. If you want to message me your email I can probably forward the pictures I got.

Yep I bet it's a Lakewood. And the Sputnik formica just screams 58... The year may be in the VIN itself. What is the VIN that you found on the trailer?

A picture of the VIN is in the 5th pic of my first post I think it reads ZATS183. Lovnvintage has sent me pics of hers and another she found on CL and it appears this one in Utah is the same. So I feel comfortable saying its a Lakewood. Now to figure out the year, get a title, negotiate a price, dig it out and bring it home.

That is my favorite formica. I wish they still made it. I really like the trailer and I hope you can save it!

I don't believe that is the VIN as VINs are supposed to be 5 digit numbers. That may be the frame type but not VIN. This is a California approved trailer so it must have a 5 digit VIN. You might want to try the side of that part of the frame. Here is the photo I was looking for of another Lakewood that I will be working on soon. This one is a 59...

Yeah my vin was real hard to see. but seemed to be about 1/2 way on the tongue on the curbside side. Actually took my son,who has much younger eyes, to find it finally.
