Upgrading the service in my 69 Shasta Compact. The 30 amp plug is square shaped vs the rectangular hole the original plug was using. Any examples of work-arounds to keep this looking decent and not like a geologist was installing a plug? Shasta external 30 amp plug by back2denali, on Flickr

Install an exterior receptacle in place of the old inlet and relocate and cut a hole for the new inlet.

I agree. If you use the old hole for an outlet, then lots of options to locate and back the new inlet.

I mounted mine in a 2 gang weather proof cover. I’ll see if I can get a pic. You are upping the wire to #10 right?
