BatteryBox by Dean Morrow, on Flickr I'm planning on using this metal box, mounted on the tongue to hold the battery and a few other things. I'm not sure if I want to run the charge wire from the J Box to the battery box, then another wire to the interior where I have space to mount the fuse block and such. Or, mount the fuse block in the battery box and run all the circuits back into the trailer and divert from there. I really dont have much inside, just a fantastic fan, a charge station and eventually I will be looking for a battery bank and solar charger. Any thoughts or advice?

I would definitely put the fuse block inside. The metal box will no doubt sweat, causing some corrosion. I use the dinette to house the fuse block, ground bracket and any other 12 volt items. Also, mount a cigar plug on the dinette face to charge phones and the like. Comes in really handy.

Thanks, sounds like a good idea. I have a charge station with a cigar plug, usb plug, battery indicator and on/off switch I'm going to mount on the counter top.
