Hi, y’all! We are Mary and Todd and live in Northeast Georgia mountains!
We were recently given a vintage 10’ canned ham camper. We have gone over it with a fine toothed comb, as well as a wire brush on the frame! We can find nothing to tell us make or model or serial number!!! The only numbers we find are on the Marvel hitch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Using mobile site and cannot figure out how to upload photos. Suggestions? Thanks!

By searching the web, we have come to two possible outcomes! 1. This is a 1954 10’ Franklin Arrow ? 2. This is a 30’s-50’s DYI kit? From Franklin?
Nothing I’ve seen is exactly like our camper, except an old photo shoot of two women with a giant crate who put this camper together in there yard... a kit.
The kitchen is across the front wall, with a “closet” on driver’s side corner; also in front. A 23” window over the three burner stove. Window rolls out with two louver style panes. Very small sink in passenger side corner with a tiny gas furnace beneath it. An ice box is mounted below the stovetop. All appliances are a dated ugly chocolate color, including the sink. Also, a gas light over the stovetop. One twenty amp fuse in a metal box in closet and a clothes hanging rod.
Two tiny plywood cabinets, one on each side at the ceiling with sliding doors.
A bench over each wheel well. Drivers side well holds a 10-15 gallon plastic water tank. Table top comes down to make a bed. A window in rear and one on each side above/behind wheels. Interior lighting consists of a 12v/110 wired together inside a short “kitchen type” light fixture with globe.
External: canned ham shape; upper skin is horizontal painted white; lower skin is diamond painted black; seam runs between two colors about half way of trailer; no license plate light; many reflectors; round amber marker lights, which may have been replaced, according to paint fading difference; big round tail lights; Marvel hitch with only numbers found; camping/hiking club stickers on front and back; to front right of door is dealer sticker from Travel World in New Hampshire; screen door with slider; door with small rounded corner square window; latch has lock that is pushed up or down to engage.
And that’s what we have!

Hello Mary and Todd, Welcome to the board. Just a guess. Below are pix of a later model, but it probably looks the same based on your description. 1960's Arrow by dwstucke, on Flickr Cheers, Rod

Hi, Rod! Thank you for the welcome! I apologize for not introducing ourselves and thank you for the add. The pictures didn’t come through, only the text.
I know I’ll tear hearts out when I say we are not refurbishing our camper, but only making it water tight (caulking- gasp!) and usable.
Our problem is: there is no serial number on the tongue and the previous owner left the title in a drawer where the mice destroyed it. We need to title and tag it to use it! Any ideas where to look for a serial number?
Eventually, I would love to begin restoring vintage trailers! I love doing it the correct way! Hubby just wants this one functional for now!
Mary

Caulking never works. It just makes it harder to do repairs the right way later on....
