I spent time looking for my Vin and thought I didn't have one. Then I was stripping my tongue to prime and repaint and I found this number on top on the tongue on the driver's side. The number is GT616235 The number is a little hard to read in the photo. Any thoughts of what the number is or how to read it would be helpful. PJ ![]() VinorSerial# by PJ Lassek, on Flickr

Even tho it's on the tongue A frame, I believe it is the VIN. What brand of trailer and year?

It's a cute little trailer; I'd say 67 is very close from the front view. (5 top clearance lights were required in 68) Be careful with yours, they are fragile and no longer available.
Because of the alignment of the numbers, I think it's the VIN. Normally, manufacturers didn't put the VIN near the coupler, but my Aljo was that way. There might be another stamping on the top of the tongue, too.

Thanks. I have stripped the tongue and completely and no other numbers. Getting ready to prime it, then paint it to prevent rust. PJ

Hello - I’m new here and I just picked up my first Vintage trailer. We got A White Star and I have the title. We are the 4th owners - original owner, passed to his son, sold it to the gentleman we bought it from. Your White Star looks just like mine and my title says it’s a 1966 and the Vin starts with the GT (Galaxy Trailer model). That’s all the info I have because I can’t find anything else on these trailers and I’m looking!

Here's some literature I found by searching "White Star Travel Trailers" Vintage Literature ReproductionsMight have been a "one year wonder"? '66 is the only year I'm seeing come up, the one's you all have and a slide-in truck camper version.

It's a 1966 and yes that is your VIN. I could only find 1 other person with a White Star! Nice to see a few more out there.
