Hey gang - The water resistant paneling outlined in green on the exterior shot is used in the shower/bathroom and kitchen areas of the trailer. It's colored yellow on the interior and I don't know if it's paint or if another process was used to add color. Very dense stuff around 1/8 " thick. Is there a modern day equivalent around? Maybe comes pre-colored or would need to paint? Thanks!

It is probably a similar product to Tile Board or Barker Board. Do a Google search for more info.

I would think going to a big box store like lowes or home depot and see what is available and light weight in their paneling for shower enclosures, I am aware of a aluminum covered wooden board that sign painters use for outdoor sign work and it holds up extremely well. Danny

It's likely a masonite with a laminate over it fused at the factory. There are a few styles of "wet panel" at the box stores. I would think you could also make your own with masonite and laminate sheets.

This FRP Paneling looks interesting. I've read reviews where it's held up very well as a shower surround and is available in many colors/designs - can even be special ordered with Wilsonart and other designs. I think it would need to be adhered to other paneling - but no need to paint which is good since I'm thinking paint would show wear rather quickly. One brand is at the following link - but there are quite a few others. Anyone have experience with it? www.marlite.com/designer-wall-systems-frp-wall-panels.aspx
