I've read that it's good up to about 250 degrees. I don't think the area under the stove-top burners gets that hot but I may be wrong? A high flame bouncing off the bottom of percolator might do it. I'll test it with the spit on the finger test and take it from there.

The one year anniversary of getting started on the Holiday House came and went in mid-October to much ... or very little fanfare ;-) I’m guessing there’s another 8 months to go with part of that being the wait for warm weather to get the skins on. I’m happy with the progress so far! Turns out I should have paid more attention during geometry in high school because the angles that come together at the rear end of a HH are a PITA. Between changing the thickness of the flooring and a few other adjustments, the angled edge of the bathroom wall did not want to play nice with the angles on the rear wall. After liberal use of the belt sander, putting the back wall up/down twice, and employing a few shims things are FINALLY nice and tight. I was somewhat comforted by the fact that the factory also used shims in this area. The future owner will get about a thousand photos of the work. The one below will show them where to punch a hole in the bathroom ceiling if they want to reincarnate the vent that was there. I’m leaving the roof framing for it. There’s already a window in the bathroom and I’m losing the shower – so not needed. And just to keep things interesting – if you ever need to make the front bed in a HH it’s definitely a little different than a Canned Ham. The bed setup is kinda cool with slide-outs that come out of the bench seats and sit on little stands. It comes together quickly and is quite solid. Got the upholstery back and set the front up for a quick look Ready for bed-time! Things are looking good. Shellacked and installed the final ceiling and wall panels a few weeks ago so the entire trailer is now enclosed in brand spanking new glowing gold. Still much to do and am excited to have things ready for getting skins on when things warm up around here in July!

Excellent progress.
"I’m focusing on saving as much of the original material as possible. Even if it’s dinged up or a little rusty I want to keep it."
I agree completely. Aged vintage pieces add character.

Great post PT! I'm not too impressed with the kitchen sink...
On your 12 volt system: the small maintainers are good but won't power the Fan + all day. If you are planning on using your 12 volt items while on shore power, I recommend a Progressive Dynamics 45 amp converter. Easy to connect in place of the maintainer and provides clean 12 volts all day long. Two of our fellow vintage aficionados have replaced the maintainers because of the above.
Your trailer looks great.

Hey... that kitchen sink is the finest old nasty wash basin thing we own ;-).
Thanks for the tip on the 45 Amp converter - I'll take a look and maybe update the master plan.
