Here she is as I found her. Really rough but trailered home on her new tires without a problem. I think duct tape and spit is holding some of her onto the frame though. I probably shouldn't have bought her but I just couldn't leave her there in that field of half dead trailers so now she's in my driveway all tarped up waiting to see if she will get a new lease on life. I have applied for a title from the Virginia DMV after a police officer signed an affidavit in lieu of title form verifying the trailer wasn't stolen. So fingers crossed I get that very important piece of paper and start work on this cute little beast. 00h0h_4NYzU4YjB41_1200x900 by Kerry Iliff, on Flickr

So, as you can see we're in for a ride. Beerdid1 and I will have our hands full so I ordered vikx's ebook and am currently watching hours of mobiltec videos and reading this forum every spare moment. If the DMV turns me down for a title, which I doubt I guess I can always part her out. But that would be a plain shame so I am hoping for the best. Let me know if you think I was a complete fool for buying this poor thing. Thanks!!

I've seen much worse here getnold, one of which ended up following ME home. Fall in love with the experience of bringing your "poor thing" back to life. Doesn't matter how long it takes if you can convince yourself every step can be fun even if it doesn't look like it. I tell myself that frustration and difficulties are what make the final outcome of each step a real reward.

I've seen worse. Here is a link to one of similar my builds: 65loliner.shutterfly.com/ Click on Pictures and videos to view the albums. I have a couple of more similar builds if you'd like to see them.

Thank you vikx!! The link to these photos are being bookmarked for future use!! I see you have restored a Loflyte in the past as well. Great info! I am just terrified that when I remove a panel of skin some of the framing will fall off in crumbles and I won't have a template to use. Regardless, I am not going to start until I have a title so I am just studying now, and gathering a few tools and cleaning supplies. I bought your ebook, which is going to be a very valuable resource as well. I have a feeling I will be asking you a lot of questions as we go! Hope that's ok. Thanks again!

Yes, of course, I'm always available for questions via email...
2 Loliners, 2 LoFlytes, 3 Land Commanders (one was actually called a Loliner but it wasn't 'low'), and several Shastas. All are similar when you rebuild them.
