Just finished this . It is technically a 1959 Metzendorf, but so many pieces of it were rotten I have replaced almost everything. Even added a teardrop style galley on the back. Started working on it last August, but 2 customer builds took priority, then had a full knee replacement in November so finally got back on it in Feb and rolled it out of the shop yesterday.

Well after building 28 teardrops and other various rebuilds, am coming close to finishing my latest project...a clone of a 1959 Metzendorf camper. I built 6 clones of a 1957 Metzendorf, 8 ft long, renamed " Whetzledorf", I undertook a 10 ft version with a twist... 8 ft cabin with a teardrop style galley on the back. Everything possible is vintage styling...creased, vintage looking aluminum skin, stained and varnished Birch interior, vintage lights and decor, c-tops, and trim, Joulosie windows.
