Are the layouts pretty much the same as a 58 Shasta? They look close, I can get pics of the framing from mine tomorrow. And I will get a pic of the sliding part of the bed if needed. The he locks on my 58 are the exact same offered on vi tage trailertrailersupply.com for $9.94, I will be ordering a couple myself soon.

Quick question, I am starting to replace some framing. The original boards are 1.75 , the new boards I got are 1.5 (1x2) I know If I use the thinner boards I have to make sure it all lights up, has anyone else used th thinner boards? I'm guessing it's not a big deal.. Advise?

The back panel, I'll show another pic today was more rotted on the inside, so it's gotta go. I'm hoping the .20 birch ply I found will work. I might end up doing some sanding to make it work, can't find 1/8 birch anywhere around here. I was plan in on adding a 1x4 across the back and extending all the support frames to be flush with the wall... Just have to get the 3/4 ply strips made for in between. I am going to remove the awning rail completely today, so I can peel back the skin, far enough to see the side walls and floors in rear.

I measured the inside of the window frames, 25.5 inches x 17.5 inches. Any suggestions of where to find replacement wondows? I will also need to replace the rear wondow, glass only... Which I think is why there is water damage. Has only I crack but I think from some neglect it allowed water in

Tyvec... Ok, I thought I read somewhere that Tyvec wasn't a good vapor barrier, and just plastic was better.
I'm trying to find 2 Windows for the for both front side windows, they were replaced with plexi glass. I'm guessing there might be other style trailers with Windows that will fir? I'd rather keep her all Shasta but, there doesn't seem to be Shasta Windows for sale anywhere. I'll measure them today and start my search...

This 58 has tile, and from what I can tell they are original.
