Thanks nccamper, I have a pretty good mask... I'll see if the gasoline rag cleans up the tar. I was able to remove most of it with a small flathead screwdriver (the tar was basically hard as a rock) I will replace it with butyl putty tape. I tried to go with VTS but they were out of stock last I checked, so I got some from a local RV shop. Hope to have more pics here soon of doors.

Thanks once again nccamper! I am removing the roof, and took the vent off.. I noticed they used almost a tar like product to keep the water out.. I am cleaning it off and plan on using butyl putty tape in its place, any suggestions if there is a better product for that??

Quick question, I am trying to replace the back bed/couch... Is a futon matress a good bet? PO had put In a regular matress (not sure how he go it in there) luckily he didn't mess up the original sliding couch/bed.

Thanks yet again nccamper! I haven't gotten to the point of taking off the roof, now I need to figure out where to store it, so it doesn't get ruined....

Chris, when you took the roof off, did you do it in one entire piece or in sections? Looks like my trailer has 4-5 foot sections for the entire roof. Thanks

Nccamper- The framing is on loose, I will be putting the paneling under it. Just rebuilt the window frame and added new framing when I took the old panel off
Chris, there is no rails... I will get your a pic of the "sliding" part of the bed ... Need to pull it out to rebuild it anyway, and there is no backboard, for the bed or couch to slide on, at least not on my trailer... By the way Chris, where are the pics of your trailer...was told when I got on here about 2 months ago pics are required
