Hey isn't that a Betty Crocker trailer, ya i'm sure of it, its their light and airy fudge brownie model. I would know one of those anywhere, unfortunately! Back in the day they were really popular and every one just had to have one, said by no one ever!

They couldn't have painted it a more appropriate color for a ..well..yea..you know.
What was it originally? It has little, if any vintage appeal in the shape, even if restored.

I think they have no clue and are just fishing. You can always go down but you can't go up in price.

I think they have no clue and are just fishing. You can always go down but you can't go up in price. Not true... I used to do this on ebay all the time. When someone would complain about a price I was asking I would raise it. Then the person complaining about price would be all shocked and complain to me again and again I would raise the price. Finally the complaining buyer bought the item before it went up again. I've done this a number of times and it works. But I don't think it will work on the unpolished turd with wheels. On the Shasta..... They painted the inside which to me makes it completely worthless...

On the Shasta..... They painted the inside which to me makes it completely worthless... I was going to tear this one up last night but got distracted. The so-called "Shasta has a lot more reasons than just paint to make it worthless...as a "Shasta" at least. There are plenty of reasons to believe that it just ain't right. There's a slim possibility that it started out as a 16SC, not an Airflyte...no bathroom in the Airflytes, so their claim as to the weight based on Shasta specs is wrong to begin with. It has had the skins all replaced, a Shasta from that time would have the 6" breaks "log-cabin" style. Windows have been placed and sized differently from the originals. Even the front window is wrong. The door never had windows, there were never jelly-jar porch lights, and the wheel wells are cut wrong. The interior layout is similar, but has some things that are way different...which admittedly can happen in a remodel, The kitchenette is laid out backwards, the sink should be against the closet wall. The toilet would be mounted facing the other direction...sounds like a minor detail until you consider what would have to be changed with regards to the holding tank. The rear window appears to have been eliminated altogether. All that, before you even get to the painted paneling.... It looks to me like a complete re-pop, where the only thing left Shasta is the name on the registration, or it was a different brand altogether with emblems, stickers and mobiltec's wings added to it. Sure not my cuppa...

Well, a hole in the floor, ice fishing, any in the ceiling. Great for a nice cozy stove. Alot better than sleeping in a tent. Yeah, hey yeah, regional.
