My walls sat below the plywood subfloor vs on it. Do I need to nail each wall (from the outside) to the plywood? I don't remember if they were attached previously or just sitting between the plywood and the skirt board. Thanks K

It sounds a bit like you are talking about nailing the 1/8" wall plywood to your subfloor? It's my understanding that the 1/8" is sandwiched between the wall framing and the floor. You should also have a 2x3 joist or other floor framing under your plywood to attach the walls to. Nailing only into the edge of plywood is not structurally sound. These trailers were built in sections, the wall section is then attached to the floor section as a unit.
