I'd like to insulate under my plywood floor- as I live in SE PA and I will be camping in cold weather. I do not have a belly pan on my Shasta. How best to attach the foam insulation to the underside of the plywood? Thanks Kaffi

Construction adhesive? I'm sure others having more experience will respond as well.

I don't think foam will last long without some sort of protection. As above, you could glue it (recommended for foam). I wonder if fence paint would melt the foam? Once glued in place and protected, I think the foam would need some bracing. Another thought would be to use spray foam to glue and seal the foam board. It wouldn't move.
Check into a company that sprays foam on walls and ceilings. That might be the way to go. I think they do several layers. Be sure to cover your J box and any other items you don't want coated, tho.

Can you add a belly pan? It would definitely be the best way to capture the insulation...

Hi kaffi311 . You need a belly pan in order to insulate the floor of your camper. With out it your insulation no matter what you use won't last long. Gravity weather and general use and towing will be the limiting factors.
Most belly pans are added to the camper at the beginning of the build. So your floor can not be there when installing a belly pan. Doesn't matter if it is to be metal or masonite. It has to be laid on top of the metal framework of your chassis. Then the floor joisting is placed on top of that. Insulation goes inside the resulting cells.
