I wish they made a even smaller 3000BTU unit.
A 8000 BTU unit will turn a small camper into an ice box.

On one of the other threads they were saying not to get less than 5000 BTU even for small camper because they just run constantly, many suggested and 8,000.

I am a new vintage camper owner. Ready to start fixing it up. Someone mounted a normal window box air conditioner in the front window. I hate the way it looks. Are you all just using a unit sitting on floor or none at all. I don't want it in my vintage window. Do they make a tiny unit that count mount on the roof? Now I have to search for an original front window for my 1961 Shasta!

Welcome Yvonne60,
Roof air conditioners are too heavy for a small vintage trailer. You could beef the roof up while doing repairs, but it's a huge undertaking. I think the portable one above might suit and certainly get that ugly old thing out of your window...
