What size tanks do u think I need for Black, Gray, fresh water n a 64 FAN? I found a factory direct link prices r 1/2 all the other places. Some are side fill, some front fill, some top fill, lots of sizes. HOW do these mount under the trailer? I am building a 3'x4' shower with toilet. Toilet can be used as a seat to shower. I bet 1 shower will use 10 gallons of water even if a person tries to save water. If we dry camp we want a fresh water tank for sure. Hot water heater is going to be instant on demand it is about the size of a cereal box. I was not planning to have any black or gray water tanks but we changed out mind. I need your suggestion.

I think you might find great info at your local modern RV shop. The deal with holding tanks all the time and have tanks, anchors and fittings. Most of our trailers only have fresh water tanks and a small pump, so many of us aren't really knowledgeable about grey and black tanks.

Your probably right. I need to know how the tanks mount to the frame, I can not tell from pictures and there is no information. I assume the lip around the egde sets on something. I don't know if it clamps on, bolts on or just sets there.
I think tanks with drain on the end is probably best but it needs to be mounted low enough to attach the 3" drain slightly below the frame so it can be drained. These tanks must have an air vent too.
I want the tanks near the axle, don't want a tail heavy or tongue heavy camper.
Tanks all come with gauges that show how full it is.
Tanks are 1/2 price online. I can look at some at Camper World then buy some online.
3 tanks 15 gallons each will hold 360 lbs of liquid this will be good for 2 or 3 days of dry camping if the shower is not used. The only thing we really want is to be able to get out of bed in the middle of the night to pee.

There was a user here named John Palmer who advocated using a long length of 4 or 6 inch ABS routed under the camper. Seemed a cheap and elegant solution. He still hangs out at "repairing yesterday's trailers". Another though would be to join an airstream forum as many of them have tanks and users can help you.

Wonder how long it takes to get approved at Repairing Yesterday's Trailers? I need to know how to mount the poop tank by 8 am tomorrow morning other wise I have to figure it out myself. Tank needs to be mounted and plywood on floor and walls started by 4 pm.

I will have the tank mounted in 30 minutes.
