ive been wandering where would my drain plug be on my camper or would It be my holding tank because I only have one big tank not a grey and black but I see no where would the drain out plug would be im just wondering if it may not have one and it just uses the tank wide open when you want to drain the entire system of water including the pipes thanks cr |

So you have a fresh water tank and a holding tank?
Many fresh water tanks that are floor mounted have a drain that protrudes through the floor right under the tank.
Most holding tanks have a valve attached to a pipe below that tank, which when opened should drain the entire tank.
Is this what you are asking?

no sorry I meant that I have a fresh water tank and the sewage tank and that's it

Fresh water tank = Fresh water tank.
Sewage tank = Black water tank.
As said, the fresh water tank probably has a bottom drain with a cap or plug under the trailer. Sometimes, the drain is off the pump. That type pumps the tank empty. You just have to look at the physical aspect and figure out what you've got.
The black tank will have (or did) at least a 3" drain and valve installed when new. You will see a large pipe out of the tank. It's possible a PO made a mess of things...
Note: many pre 73 trailers did not have a grey (sink/shower) tank. Instead, there was an 1 1/2" pipe below the black water valve that drained steadily. The advent of campground clean water rules (mostly in Calif) stated that no grey water be allowed to drain onto open ground. Thus, grey water tanks were born.
