I'm voting for homemade as the frame looks pretty modern and the box looks cobbled up from a cutter's dream.

It reminds me of that recycling vehicle in Star Wars that picked up R2D2 and C3PO.

to VTT pappysnap. It is interesting and almost looks like it might originally have been a slide-in truck camper homebuilt into a pull behind. I would love to see photos of all 4 sides. If it has a back end entry door, I'd vote ex-slide-in. The box may be vintage (early 60's-ish), just as it appears to me to be more function over form...personally, I would hesitate to pour much money into this one. I don't believe it is from a recognizable, collectible/sought after Brand.

It looks like it's on a utility trailer frame.

Hello Pappysnap. Welcome to the VTT forum. I agree with all of the above. Is this Your camper or one You are thinking about buying ? Mighty interesting piece of work, I think.

" almost looks like it might originally have been a slide-in truck camper homebuilt into a pull behind. " (VB) Agreed. The shape created by the original siding certainly traces the outline of a truck camper. Quite cool, and would be fun to know its whole story.

I wonder if they removed the overhead bunk and extended the floor out that far, to the front end of the trailer ? it`d be fun to see some pics of the interior.

Thank you everyone for your opinions an input. The entry door is on the back. It's $1200 OBO on CL. If anyone is interested but can't find it, let me know. We really value the opinions

Just to be clear, I was thinking about buying this but decided against it. Thanks again for your response.
