Hey ten, if you end up yanking that heater out, maybe you should consider cleaning up the inside and displaying it like an art object. I bet that is brass under all the green and then the awesome mid century porcelain handles would look great cleaned up.
You've certainly found a nice trailer, even if it is a Shasta😜

Thank you Thank you THANK YOU! That is just what I was looking for when I started searching. I had figured that the old Vaillant was going to be history just because I would never figure it out.
On the other hand a modern tankless should fit the space nicely if it were to need changing. I am pretty excited to see if it works, because of the fact that it sat for so many years in one spot, and I do not believe it was hooked up to any water in all that time. I'm betting it will fire right up, and surprise me greatly.

It appears that the ball hitch coupler had been welded on. I`m not sure about that but just looking at the pics. I have a friend in Germany, born and raised there. he does work for that appliance company that builds furnaces and hot water heaters, and no, they do not export. I asked Him while I was remodeling/rebuilding My house as I thought that their systems sounded very efficient.
