Hi Everyone! I have a 1965 Security Trailer I'd like to take with me when I move back to England early next year from Portland, OR Has anyone had any positive experiences with international shippers they could share? I'm having a hard time knowing what I'm dealing with just from looking at dozens of poorly designed websites Thanks!

Welcome Susannaluck.
You might contact some of the eBay sellers who offer international shipping for Airstreams and vintage trailers.

Welcome!
An interesting question. It's the first time I've seen the subject raised here. Hopefully somebody who has done it will chime in.

I have no experience shipping a trailer internationally, but I have dabbled in the import export game when I was younger. It may not be that difficult for an individual to ship a trailer (with a Clear Title) to the UK. Many exports are regulated if they are competing with an active American manufacturing quota to other countries. In my experience, vintage items are not heavily taxed and the paperwork might be straightforward. You can contact U.S. Customs and/or the nearest Port and ask your basic questions and they will be glad to supply you with the correct answers. You DO NOT necessarily need the services of an export agent. I imagine the paperwork will be available on line and an individual vintage camper should be exportable by a private citizen of either the US or the UK. Heck, most of the time when the item arrives at the port of destination the owner simply has to go to customs and fill out the proper declaration papers. The only possible snag I see, might be having to convert your hitch and towing lights to British standards to qualify it to be deemed/certified roadworthy to tow out of the UK port to it's final destination. This is just my opinion, but I believe most of your questions will be straightforwardly and helpfully answered by US Customs. There will probably be a lot of paperwork, but you might start by reviewing this thread regarding exporting an Airstream from the US to Canada just to get some ideas regarding the regulations. www.airforums.com/forums/f343/how-to-import-from-usa-into-canada-27563.html
