Not looking for another one and this happens! I don't have my recovery kit, I don't have my "Bill of sale" document.... Thankfully.... I was unprepared. But I could not help myself and Talked the guy down to $150 . It has no title and he would not give me a bill of sale. That felt like a red flag! Good ol farmer. He either did not understand what I was asking for or I miss understood his reluctance... He thought it should be put on a trailer and I think he is right. Interior was mostly there but a big mess! No fridge door, knobs missing from stove..... Oven a mess. Cushions all there.... and truck Snow tires!, homemade cabinets where the bunk used to be. Shelving literally covering the toilet stool on up in the bath. don't forget the back seam popped. Not a lot of structure left back there.but what does one expect for $150.00? It Would be good to gut on site for parts and collapse, and haul off on the frame.... Would anybody out there go for it with this one? attempt to hitch it up and drive it home 150 miles? or trailer it? .....or run away. The "sign" is written in old axil grease. Very creative, I thought! IMG_6488 by dhandkey, on Flickr Last registered in 1983. And quad tail lights. How cool is that? IMG_6489 by dhandkey, on Flickr badly faded paint, Seam in the middle. looked like all original skin to me. IMG_6491 by dhandkey, on Flickr Im talking myself into going back up north and getting it. Please stop me!!! IMG_6492 by dhandkey, on Flickr I think its a '65 based on the serial number. The entry door would tell me it's pre 1964 as its not a pre hung .... Oh and the shutters are cool. Im curious to see what others would do if confronted by a seemingly too good to pass up deal.....

$150 is as close to free as they get but 150 miles is a long way with a camper like that's bouncing around a flatbed. I guess if it's strapped together you'll make it.
Do you own a trailer to tow it home on?
I think it comes down to one question... do you want to work on it as much as your Forester fleet? If yes, go for it! If no, run from it!

Short answer is no , at this time I'm Not equipped to "process" this trailer . I don't have a flat bed and my garage can only handle the low profile trailers ... like foresters... so it would not be feasible or enjoyable to work on at this time...... this has been good therapy!

Handkey has a fever...
What are the title/registration rules in your state? I'm thinking without a title OR a bill of sale, this one might be a problem. Not worth the money unless these problems are resolved first.

Not worth the money unless these problems are resolved first. All MN travel trailers MUST be titled to get a plate to be on the road in MN. Why hesitate to give a bill of sale? There are no good reasons for the buyer.. I will have a printed on on hand from now on!

Snowmobile and ATV trailers are in pretty high demand. LOL Take the farmers tractor, bash off everything above the frame, a set of those magnetic tail/signal lamps from harbor fright for ten bucks and You got yourself a ready made trailer for hauling snowmachines and ATVz on. Let the farmer keep the body. I say go for it.

vintagebruce , You have done it again, thank you for the link above. I missed the shutters and it was your mention of them that made me pay attention. The similarities are quite prominent now that I looked twice. Here is one of the Trailblazers: Here is one of its cousins, I own this Pathfinder: Not that this has anything to do with anything.....

It seems to happen alot, and especially when you aren't looking. ANOTHER ONE headed for the stable! I don't wish to hijack the thread, and more to follow, but here is a couple hints. It has one of these: And one of these:
