Are there any rebuilt campers out there for sale that won't break my piggy bank? Does anyone have one that is just about to be done? I'm sure they are out there, you know, the kind that are rebuilt "right" from the frame up to live in? But where? I'm in WY. Appreciate any suggestions.

What year are you hoping to find? I know of one around 1970ish (toaster) done right asking $5900.
Anything late 50s early 60s (ham) done right will cost more.

Thanks, NCC. Well, year is not key, but the 60s would be preferred, but I'm willing to consider all. Where might this prospect live?

When you say..."to live in"...are you looking for one that you will travel/tour with as a full time live aboard? Or are you looking for a vintage camper to place on a piece of property to live in? What length would you prefer?

There's a 69 Shasta Loflyte available. It's been rebuilt and has lots of room. Tows very well and everything works. Lots of upgrades, including a Wave 3 heater, water pump and Fantastic Fan. They are asking 6K. Nothing wrong with the trailer, just a young couple and growing family... weight is approx. 1800 to 2000lbs. I'm currently getting close to finishing a 1963 B & B. Golden Glow wood, tiny potty closet, gaucho bed. Really a NICE trailer and big enough to live in. She probably weighs around 2500 lbs, sturdy and 15 feet.

Very nice LoFlyte Vikx that seems like a very solid unit for the price.

Thanks Rich.
The Loflyte has all the bells and whistles except curtains and upholstery. I trust it to be sound and a non leaker. Some fool backed into the BRAND NEW NOSE at the storage lot, so it has a small ding. Pretty sure it is repairable with a little bondo.
For some reason, this trailer hasn't had the luck finding a permanent home. Nobody has abused it, but life has gotten in the way...twice.

Well, Vikx I can tell you that if we ourselves were in the market we would love to look at it. There should be no issue selling it. Also, means a lot to hear someone like you say you trust it. At that I would just go and hand over the cash blindfolded! No 2 Ways about it. I wish them the best.
