Can you please post a link to a photo of the trailer, so we can see it?

I reversed the wording in my first search. I have found that the "park" model campers of the era yours comes from usually have the Company name stamped on the step, if the step is name stamped, and the emblem might actually be the model. When I did a search for vintage Castle Caravan, I turned up reference to Castle campers in Oz (Australia) that were small and had port hole windows in the door, but when I clicked the see more images icon, there were some photos of smaller Castles, with the door on the curb side, indicating they might be U.S. Castles, unlike the Oz campers that have the door on what we would call the street side. You appear to have a really sweet example of a very early 50's "full time" livaboard trailer, even if it does not have a bathroom. Lots of trailer parks built just after WW II had bath houses for inhabitants with trailers without the bathroom, and some "fancier" parks had individual toilet/shower bath houses for individual trailer sites. I will keep searching a bit more, but I think you have a Castle trailer and yours is the first reference I have seen for this Manufacturer, so they were either a short lived company or the Castle name was used by a better known parent Company that made a couple of different "brands" and they dropped the Castle brand, ran afoul of copyright restrictions, or dropped the name because another of their Brands was really catching on in popularity and they wanted to focus on that brand. Maybe their slogan was something like..."a mobile family's home is their Castle"... vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/1140IMO you have scored a great camper that could bring you a lot of enjoyment and pride of ownership. Do you plan to put it on a piece of recreational property, tow it to various campsites or fix it up and sell it? Whatever you decide, I believe it is a very nice purchase! Congratulations! Here is the thread that appears to show photos of both street sided entry and curb sided entry doored small Castles from the 50's. search.aol.com/aol/image?q=vintage+Castle+Caravan+camper&s_chn=prt_btest1-g&v_t=comsearch-txtlnkusaolp00000051
