Hi guys, I've been lurking for a while and thought it was time that I joined the forum. Thanks for all of the knowledge that you have shared. I just bought my first vintage trailer, a 1966 Aristocrat Lo-liner. We wanted a canned ham, but loved the Lo-liner's small size and expansive windows. It was also in better shape than most of the other trailers that we looked at, although it is going to need at least some rott repair. There is no visible water damage to the roof, but there are some signs of leakage at the front and rear windows, as well as visible rott to the lower wood that mount the body. The floor looks solid. Here are a few pics of it, on the 400 mile trip home at Crater Lake and at its new home in my shop. Also a pic of my 1950 Dodge and 1957 F-100 tow rigs.

Dang it, every time I go back to PhotoBucket to get another link, my post is deleted?

Welcome! I love Loliners. They often need a lot of work but are rewarding in the end. Here's a link to my last Loliner: 65loliner.shutterfly.com/ Click on pictures and videos to view the albums. There are a couple of issues you should be aware of with these cool trailers: 1.The kitchen wall tends to drop, along with the wheel well. It can be repaired, but something to be aware of. I've seen two with the droopy K wall. 2. The front spring bracket can rub the inside of the tire. We always trim it back and try to use original style wheels with the correct offset. Here's a link to the discussion: vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/743/aristocrat-loliner-blowoutsMore info available, just a heads up.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 1968 LoLiner, I purchased locally. It had been partially renovated, then the PO lost interest. I have so far removed rear skin, repaired/replace bad wood, raised lower side skins to replace wood. The PO had gutted and then installed new interior with dark stain "like AIRSTREAMS". I have replaced some panels, and complete new AC and DC wiring. Now building a new double bed frame. It has new checkered floors, new refer, news stove top, new microwave. No plumbing yet. It is a 3 year project for me, my age, weather in central ca etc. Good luck, will help you if I can. This forum is great, many help, just ask. Roger
