On the hunt for a small trailer and cam across this on CL this am. The post says it's a 1978 Kamp Master trailer, but I can't find anything about these trailers. My research shows Kamp Master trailers to be teardrops. Thanks in advance. seattle.craigslist.org/see/tro/5705865372.html

I know you want info on that company, but I just wanted to say thats a great looking little camper for $600. The paneling is typical 70s but that can be replaced. Love the shape. Have not seen one before! Most are gutted at this price for sure.

Never heard of Kamp Master or Morrow Manufacturing either, but that is an awesome looking camper. If it were in North Carolina, I'd already have it sitting in my back yard!!

Interesting... That looks to me to be a camper shell for a pick-up,on its own little accessory trailer? Wonder if it can be detached and put on a truck easily.. Also looks like the rear opens up in addition to the door. To load quads etc..

Whatever it is, I can't see it being used for more than sleeping in. Just much too small and short for anything else.

Not sure if the original Kamp Master company closed shop and did not protect their brand name or not, but you are correct I believe that they started out with teardrops. This would be more as a toy hauler that you could sleep in once you got to your camping area. Probably not "collectible" per se, but if you have a toy that needs hauling and then you don't want to tent camp, the price might be right if it is a bit negotiable. Here is food for thought on the original Kamp Master...as you will see in the slide show, one of their "claims to fame" was the fact that the teardrop opened in such a manner that you had a "full" entry door in the rear and standing headroom for an average sized person in 1949, if you added the optional tent sides, as opposed to sleeping two inside by the side entry doors like a regular teardrop. The tent addition added two more sleeping spots, and pretty cool design for the era. www.myvintagecampers.com/1949-kampmaster-teardrop.htmlFinally here is a thread to the pdf referencing the 1953 Popular Science article on how to build the Wild Goose clone (kinda) of the Kamp Master...homebuilders make note... td.roughwheelers.com/articles_and_plans/Wild_Goose.pdf
