1967 18 foot Traveleze it has been stored around 10 years and then new owners are selling it which have had it for a couple of years. No leaks whatsoever the inside is all original and very clean. So is the outside. 12 volt and 110 working. Originally wanted 6500 but are willing to take 5 grand for it not sure that is a good deal or not I'd like to get some feedback pretty new to this thank you

There are many more experienced buyers and restorers in this forum than I but I know for sure pictures are helpful for that kind of advise. I love the look of the Traveleze - we have directions for how to post pictures if you can post them, that would be great!

Hey Mark,
Welcome aboard! I have always told people when asked, Is it a good price?....Should I buy it or not?.... If you like the trailer and it will suit your camping needs and You feel that you ca afford to pay the asking price, go for it! What one person is willing to pay, might not be what some else would be willing to pay.
I personally think that $5000.00 for the 1967 Traveleze isn't a bad price!
If you go for it, please post pictures!

If the inside is all original (not painted) and there are no signs of leaks, no rotted framing underneath and the floor is solid with no soft spots, $5000 seems fair.
If it has been stored under cover that's a big plus.
Crawl under it, bring a small ladder and check the roof, look behind every pillow and cushion and in every cabinet with a flashlight. If you have doubts about something you see, post photos and we'll give you our opinion.
In fairness to the seller, a 49 year old camper usually needs something fixed, upgraded or has some rot somewhere. I'd be very surprised if $5000 bought a camper that was absolutely perfect.

Judging from what I see in the photos I found, I would say start into negotiations and if you can score it for $4500 or less it is probably a decent buy...It is a nice looking Traveleze...great shape nice paint scheme and cool windows with lots of light inside. At or near the current asking price will bring out some of the (original) reluctant buyers. Don't wait too long before making a decision. And to VTT.

Welcome to VTT!
I would have to see trailer photos and inspect it to judge worth. The thing is, it's a 1967 and if it's never been repaired, it does need that. New putty on the J rails or edge trim, window flanges and doors would be first. The roof needs to be inspected and the vents re-puttied as well. Just because the interior shows no sign of leaks doesn't mean the trailer isn't leaking. They often have invisible damage inside the walls or rotten skirting.
Inspect this one carefully from roof top to belly. Sagging skin signifies sagging frame members. Gaps are not good, nor is a poor fitting door. The step must be secure and sound. Look in all the cabinets and dinettes for any sign of water staining or lifting flooring.
5K seems high to me but I would like to see photos before saying that for sure.
