My compact originally had 1/8 paneling cut in strips around the door frame, to catch the screen door from going into the camper. Before I started the restore while I was going in and out of my camper I hit that 1/8 wood so many times with my shoulders and broke some of it. it was slightly rotted so not as strong as a new piece would be, but still I dont like it and dont think its a good option for that. Has anyone ever used anything else right there? I would love your Ideas/options please Here are the only 2 photos that I have where you can sorta see what im talking about..

The 64 Shasta 1500 had the stop built into the aluminum door jam.
