My trailer has a plastic rocket pump, but hidden in a cabinet was the original chromed metal pump. The rocket seems to need the bottom rubber valve seal while the chrome one has a ball bearing there and needs the piston seal. Anyone find parts for these? What is the name of the cylindrical chrome one?

I'm not much help on the rocker style pump, but on the older slanted ones with the brass cylinder, I couldn't find a replacement piston seal, but after studying it, it looked similar to the rubber cups on a brake wheel cylinder, so I went to Autozone and got a rebuild kit for a few dollars. I can't remember, but I think it's a 7/8". It worked. I had to mess with it a little bit. I had a little difficulty drilling a hole for the screw. The cups are tough rubber.

I've brought a few of those back to life but that's the one part I could never replace.

I got this Repair kit from Amazon for my Hand pump and it works great! I wasn't absolutely sure it would fit my pump because I couldn't find any model numbers but I threw caution to the wind and figured I would only be out $8 and have to buy a whole new pump if it didn't work, but it did!

Good find. That would fix the rocket, but the older chrome one has a slightly narrower cylinder. What did you use to reseal the bottom of the rocket after repairing it? Looked to almost be RV putty in mine, but I assume silicone would be OK here?

I used plumber's putty for the seal between the two pieces of the pump as well as between the counter and the pump when I installed it.

I have a coleman rocker pump I scavenged from a 70s conversion van. It's in great shape except for the rubber parts. Never could find replacement parts.

Well, with a little silicone grease inside, the rocket seems to be pumping. Need to get some silicone or putty to put it back together leak free. Probably should buy the rehab kit, but I only need the little valve thing from the bottom and mine mostly holds, even all dried out. Too bad you can't unpit chromed plastic though...
