Hey, new here. Currently doing the best I can at making an 59 Siesta usable. Found this at what i think may be a good deal. Guy says it's a 59' and I think he said it was 28 ft long. Not sure if outside is original. Any ideas? I can get it for about $400. goo.gl/photos/fVTz5HdCSfC4ZuPbA

I think there's supposed to be a photo there but I can't see it. Is it just me?

to VTT. We will be looking forward to seeing a photo or 3, even if it turns out to be a 28 foot '59 Airstream. We have quite a discussion ongoing about campers over about 20' being more for putting on a piece of recreational property rather than being a go everywhere weekend camper, so it will be fun to see what you found. We probably can advise you whether you should work downward from the $400 price tag, and why. Follow the photo tutorial and the pics will appear.

I agree, very nice shape. Get some closer photos if possible. Ask to see inside. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Exactly what we were discussing in the other thread. Stretched Canned Hams... I like it. I'm right now looking for property to purchase and move my act on to. I'm thinking I may live in something like that until I can build or buy something larger. That would really be a hoot.
We need interior photos and more photos of the outside as well. Good find!

After seeing the one photo anything from $400 downward you can lock the sale in with, I'd suggest...PULL THE TRIGGER! As mobiltec said, it's a Good Find! I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is a "home". Guy lived in it for about 5 years. Everything inside has been stripped . But the outside is in really nice shape and has never been painted. The 59 Siesta I am working on now has been painted over NUMEROUS times and I am fighting that battle right now. Haven't picked it up yet but in this area no one is interested in old campers right now, and this one is in the middle of no where.

Mobile, for some reason I think of you settled in on your own little piece of property, away from the stupid zoning issues in an unbelievably beautifully restored Spartan. Roomy, classic, and gonna last a very long time. Not a canned ham exactly, but worthy of your attention. Kudos on the 6000K. Please keep it going! We learn so much from you.
