Hey all, My furnace cover is a bit rusty and yucky. It will clean up a bit but I'd like to repaint it. What are my options? I looked for high heat paint but it only comes in White or black. Neither of which will look nice. I found some flame proof paint at Napa for headers in an aluminum color which I think will look nice but what about off-gassing? Would it be an issue to use this paint on something that will be inside the trailer. I figure if nothing else I could use it on the outside furnace vent... Thoughts or ideas PLEASE.

Is it a floor furnace? If so what are the dimensions of the grate?

It's not a floor furnace, it sits below the oven.

I may have a turquoise cover. Let me know the model and size. Not sure of shipping, but shouldn't be too bad.

You should be able to use high temp engine paint and it comes in many colors. That cover doesn't get that hot. It probably could be painted with most paints as even though it is hot it won't burn you if you touch it. talk to your local paint store or having it powder coated is another option.

Sorry, I was looking at all those toes...
Mine is much more rounded. Sorry. It also doesn't have high heat paint but worked pretty well when they used it. Replaced with a Wave 3.

LOL, I was trying to get a good photo without the flash glare. When I realized my toes were in the picture too, I had to laugh and just knew someone would have something to say, lol!
