I've been having trouble sourcing the back-gasket for my Woodlin windows. Robert at Vintage Trailer Shop has something in the works, but he doesn't get a sample back from the factory for a few weeks. I need to get my trailer off my dad's lawn before that. My original plan was to just put all the windows back on with the old gaskets and be extra careful with putty tape on the one window that's missing a gasket. But now that I know there may be a replacement in the future I'm wondering if it's a possibility to tow the trailer about an hour with no windows? I would of course cover them up well. Anyone have any experience with this?

How about installing the windows without putty tape; just gently put in about 4 screws in each window and then pull them and do it right when you get home. The front window will keep any air 'blast' out of the trailer so there will be minimal pressure on the rest. I'll be doing exactly that when I tow Scotty to the weigh station here in a few weeks.

Genius!! Thank you! Sometimes I feel silly posting so many questions here but I alwasy end up getting help from y'all.

I've moved a lot of trailers this way. Just make sure the small amount of screws you put in will definitely hold the windows. If you are not sure, double up on the screws.

Yeah, I was thinking I may as well do most of the screws. I would die if a window came out on the highway after all this work. I'll also probably put my hazards on and drove annoyingly slow haha
