Does everyone here use table legs on their dinette tables? I've been thinking that under the table would be a great spot for a dog bed. And I found moving around the leg to be a pain for the short time that I actually sat down in my camper before I ripped it all apart. So I'm looking into alternative options for attaching the table to the wall. I decided I won't need to convert it to a bed -- guests can sleep in a tent! I know there are 90-degree brackets available, but those don't seem like they would work too well on my curved front wall. I've thought about engineering some kind of angled leg that attaches to the center of the table and to the floor near the wall. But I figured I'd ask the experts if they have any experience with this first. Edit: Just found this after some searching around marine options. It's a little pricey at $225 but how cool is this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAjLjp9hG_E

I love this! The only problem I see is with a front dinette, the mount needs to be a certain distance away from the wall. I'm thinking in a back dinette/bed arrangement, this might be the way to go...

Just to toss out something unconventional... What about hanging the table from the ceiling? A couple cables or maybe a sturdy pipe... You could even attach a light fixture to the pipe...

Good find, nccamper. $182 still seems like a lot, though I may give it some thought. A strong support on front of the wall + some L-brackets is a good idea, and I may be at the right point in my build for that with my skins off. Wondering if I could build a cross beam that's screwed into the sides from the outside? Hmmmm... Dan, I did consider hanging it briefly, (I think you could theoretically attach it to a cross beam for it to work) but thought that it would sway too much. And if one end is attached to the wall that seems like a good way to rip it out. Something like this: www.kiravans.co.uk/swing-out-table-leg-wall-mounted or this: www.gowesty.com/product-details.php?v=&id=2477 may also be a possibility, though I'm not sure how much weight it can handle.

Interesting! Too late because my lagun is already on the way. Though I don't think I have a flat wall in the right place for that cheaper set up anyway
