I hope this link works. It was on a Canadian site, on Facebook, so in case TCT didn't show it, check this out!

Whew, this one gets my all-three-thumbs-up award. Too beautiful to ever take out in the rain, but I could live with that. I want a hood, er, roof ornament like that for Scotty, and mahogany paneling and chrome skin, and now I need to take a breather...

It is a little over the top for my tastes, but beautiful workmanship. Far beyond restoration and more like a work of art, which is very fitting.

When I was scanning through that thread of many old campers on Mr. Ed's web site and saw the photo in 1936 of the Bay City Yacht Works where the Kauneels were steam bending fir to make their Deluxe Kauneel trailers I wondered why some contemporary vintage camper owner didn't get a Yacht builder with old world craftsmanship skills to restore a camper instead of Flyte Camp or Timeless Travel Trailers for a change of taste and interpretation, and viola, here is an example of what I envisioned...and more. I really like this piece of Vintage Camper Art! It is definitely not a "weekly camper", but I could see it sitting on a pristine lakeside location enveloped in a glassed-in air conditioned pavilion. Hey, if you are rich enough to have this kind of work done why not have the whole enchilada? 2.bp.blogspot.com/-BDlF33LSpzc/USe4HEa4KQI/AAAAAAAAhzk/8QWAlyFrZ5E/s730/May%2B1936.%2BBay%2BCity%252C%2BMichigan.%2BDeluxe%2BKauneel%2Bauto%2Btrailer.JPGThis made me think of a completely glassed in pavilion. I wouldn't want this Scotty sitting in the open atmosphere, I'd glass it in too and climate control the whole enclosure. adventure-journal.com/2014/05/weekend-cabin-locomotive-ranch-uvalde-texas/I also like Craig Dorsey's art work!

Interesting you say that vintagebruce my parents are into restarting yachts. They have a gorgeous teak filled old boat they are working on. I'm excited to have them helping me with my trailer, because of they way they think.
