I know of a early 50 Terry Trailer one owner with all original paper work and every receipt ever spent. It's been under cover it's whole life All original birch interior like new! The original owners passed away. The trailer was their pride and joy. It has not been used for the past 14 years but always kept clean inside and out. Not for sale yet, what do you think it's worth?

Worth depends on size and condition. Photos are the only way to help you. Please post a few.
NOTE: We do not allow sales on the open board and such posts will be deleted.

Monetary value is never the first question I have about a trailer. It's usually the last.

Thank you for the information, Jer5217. I sent you a PM if the Terry will be available. The paperwork may say "Terco" rather than Terry.

The shape is really great. Very Hammy. What do you think the access door was used for under the dinette window?

its not a access door, the original owner mounted a fold down stainless steel table with a fold down leg. the table is secured in the down position by the use of a threaded wingnut and washer to hold it securely while travelling. this is the only modification on this original trailerthat he made. that is not a repaint it came that way from the factory back in 1951 all original paint with no scratches our dents anywhere on this trailer.

That blows my mind what a great looking trailer inside and out. I am not sure what it's worth but I have a feeling the pros on here would tell you it's worth a good bit, provided there are no structural issues. Well above 5k I would guess. If it was completely properly restored in this condition I would imagine the $10k neighborhood. So somewhere in between. But I am not educated on this like the others. Nothing can beat a thorough in person inspection to know. Even ones this nice can hide a lot. Technically, would probably need perhaps some minimal replacing of skirt boards, the damage under the front window and a few other things but shoot, the thing looks Grade A as an original to me. I love that nicely done fold down table and thanks for sharing the pics! Also, that beautiful rustic color. Real classy.

It is very beautiful and in amazing condition! I too, am enjoying the pix.
That being said, this trailer needs new putty to remain in this shape. So edge trim, windows and eyebrows will have to be addressed. Not a big deal, after all, it is almost 70 years old!

It appears to be a very well preserved trailer. Not to be nit picking but I don't think the ice box is original. The windows will need new gaskets also. I don't buy trailers in this condition nor have I sold any so I have no idea of the value. If it is free of any rot, I'd guess $5K to $10K as is. Who knows, maybe more.

yeah that kind of gave me pause when i opened it up,but then i was so busy checking every thing else out i kinda didnt think about it again until you mentioned it. im pretty sure they used metal ice boxes only up until the mid to late 50's. if that was the case which it most likely is because its fiberglass they found one that fit the existing opening pretty exact."good eye". i think the first fiberglass production car was the 1954 corvette so wide uses of it would have been limited and this is a 1951 trailer
