LOVE the pump! I've never seen one like that before. I know nothing about restoring one, just wanted to say awesome find. I am using the same counters

Looks like a jam nut at the bottom of the spigot , i would try some Teflon tap around that jam nut.

Agreed, undo the nut,wrap just a couple wraps of Teflon tape around the spigot, then gently tighten the nut until it stops leaking when pumping.
