Hello:
I'm new to this forum and am hoping that there are some Westcraft Westwood Tahoe owners out there that can help me out! My 1947 Tahoe is missing both the front Westcraft emblem and the small round badge which I think was located by the door. Would another Tahoe owner please take a good high resolution photo of their emblem for me and give me the dimensions? This is so I can possibly have a new one made, or even just a decal facsimile. My sister bought the 47 Westwood Tahoe about 7 years ago...a gentleman in Washington had done a restoration on it and sold it to a couple in San Francisco. My sister was the next owner...she then sold the trailer to a winery in Napa County. Long story short, the winery folks wanted to use it as a wine tasting room, so it was gutted and rebuilt inside. The County shut the tasting room down...the trailer sat for years in the weather and water got inside. The stove, bed, tables, awning, you name it was sold off. The trailer is back in our family and I am going to bring her back to her former glory (hopefully even better). Any help would be appreciated. This is going to be a project that takes a while!
Best Regards, Margaret

Hi Margaret and welcome!
Sad tale about your Westwood, but it can be fixed. A lot of work and we're here to help. The emblems may be hard to come by, but there are a few at our Fall rally. I'll see if I can get a photo for you. (September-a few months away)
