We are thinking about this one: www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/eccotemp-portable-tankless-water-heater/37786Anyone have experience with it? It says for portable use only, not for permanent placement. We we would be using it for hot water in our sink. We don't have a shower. But ive been wondering about trying to be able to have an outdoor shower. Has anyone done anything like this on a vintage trailer? Maybe if the water heater is under cabinets where the sink is and there's a vent or way to open to the outside and could use the shower head somehow outside?

Maybe something like this. Any way to keep the water heater inside and be able to use it for sink and somehow get hot water outside so we can shower when we're staying places with no bath house.

Ther are a bunch of us who have these tankless heaters. They work great, but when you're in an area where the incoming water invert cold, you may have to tinker with the heat settings a little. This looks pretty much like our permanent one except this has a carry/hanging handle on the top. We have a Shasta Compact with the big closet by the kitchen turned into a mini bathroom. The tankless system has worked great, and with it next to the kitchen, it's nice to be able to get hot water without heating it on the stove.
I think the indoor/outdoor solution is excellent, but you would have to vent the unit.
