The difference seems to be in the center of the round bulb. I wonder if it effect bending? I would be interested to know firsthand from somebody who ordered it. They seem to have a good selection of window trim/gaskets. Some things like this are more expensive at VintageTrailerShop.com $10 verses $6.90 at vintage trailer supply or this, you can get the exact globe with the fixture (not included here) for the same price at Home Depot

The back frame gasket and glass seal are much more expensive than VTS... And VTS pricing has skyrocketed.

I'll let you know in a few days how it works out. I also found a factory direct source that claims to be the one VTS sells. I asked for a quote... Might make sense for those that restore many trailers.

What is the name of the factory direct source? www.everychina.com/buy/c-z1401ec6/p-42529618-round_cabinet_welt_25_length.html?from=wapNot sure how legit it is, but I have found many direct Chinese sources for other products, like multicopter parts, that seem to supply nearly all online stores here. I have also had a lot of good luck ordering phone accessories and LED flashlights from Amazon that are shipped direct from China. I don't like it much, but I just can't see a reason to pay a middleman as long as I have the patience to go direct, since everything is from China anyways.

Got the welting... Looks good to me... Solid core with a 7/16" tail. It's a little bigger than original, but my cheap router is a little chippy, so it works out. I also got my floor tiles installed !

I also got my floor tiles installed ! That's the same stuff I use. I buy it in 500 foot rolls at auctions. I have two colors. Beige and White. The floor looks nice. You know you have to strip the new tiles before polishing.

Armstrong VCT. As usual Home Depot screwed up my special order and couldn't give me any status for a week. We think they look OK as is, so probably won't polish. Hopefully the tiles stay down, it was a shade under 65 degrees as recommended on the adhesive tub and I didn't want to pay $40 for a hand flooring roller, so I gave them the Betty Crocker and let the kids tapdance on them for a bit.

BTW. I street viewed the address of this web site and its a tract house in Walnut CA. The welting shipped from a warehouse in LA... Another virtual business...

You really do need to do the strip and polish thing because that seals the tile. It needs to be sealed even if you never polish it again.

Yes and I show these products in my Flooring Videos. Henry Multi-Floor Cleaner to strip. Follow the directions. And Armstrong Excelon Floor Polish. Also read the directions and watch my flooring videos on the application. Very easy to do. Doesn't take long. Even easier with your floor due to no trailer or cabinets to get in the way. Beware that the flooring people at HD may not know what you are talking about or where to find the products. Last time I found them in the ceramic tile section way down on the bottom shelf hidden in a corner. The employee looked it up on her little hip computer which tells her where the product is hidden. You can also probably find it on Amazon dot com.
