Anybody know what this is? And the cool door handle: I'm guessing early 50s, possibly a Forester? Haven't gotten photos of the inside, but said to have a green and white stove, pry a Princess... Early Field and Stream?

Its a collection of great parts.. Hehr's ,water fill , l-55.. Ok i'm kidding, looks like you've found the answer. That lock set is the L-54/55 Lft/RGT or commonly refereed to as the H-20 for the handles part #, grab it $$$. Can't go wrong with that one even if it does turn out to be parts..

Thanks so much TT!
The elderly lady is a hoarder and barely allowed the photos... She *needs* it to store her stuff...
You and me: would grab that handle in a heartbeat. It's in So Cal so maybe.

I like it. Although I don't like the idea of working on plywood walls.
You're right, it does have the Forester front.
If was local and the inside was all there I might offer her a trade. A very basic shed 8x8 for the camper. I can build a shed for her stuff in a long weekend.

Here is a shutterfly photo album of a 1955 Hummingbird Dayton Taylor has for sale. Looks like the '55 has a "newer" door handle, but still has a two-tone stove, so the one we are looking at has to be a '54 or earlier...as usual vikx, great call! 1955hummingbirdperfectcondition.shutterfly.com/

Nice! Front reminds me of the Rainbow and Oasis too. Love the stove, same model as in our '57. I like the front window too. It needs to be rescued. That restored one is nice! Great job on those windows, very shiny.

I don't remember ever seeing a front end that has the recurve on the bottom. There is no other word for that but elegant.

Actually the Rainbow, Oasis, some Kenskill's and others too have that S curve front. It's a challenge to rebuild. Was the Hummingbird built in So. California? Our Rainbow interior, bending the birch was a pain: Exterior, bending the siding and J-rail was a pain:

Mountainsounds, I really like the inside curve in your camper. Well worth the effort. Beautiful.

Well.... I see lots of water damage in those photos. Some repaired and some just shellacked over. I won't bother to list all the damage I found. Look carefully and you'll see it in corners, around the vent, bottom of the door and on both sides and under windows. I'll admit it's a nice trailer but it's got some rot. And if he didn't at least do a re-seal then that trailer is doomed to leak. Is it worth $10,500? Not in my opinion because it needs to be opened up.
