Thanks for posting Larry. My 4 year old and I watched it all the way through and I think I'll save my hvlp for the skin painting. Do you ever buy shellac by the gallon...my Home Depot only carries quarts and they are $18, so even in expensive California, you can still get extra soaked.

I was able to find shellac by the gallon once. Haven't done it since because it's just too much to deal with as far as handling is concerned. And I didn't save all that much money. I like the smaller quart size cans and I pay $13 and some change at Home Depot. I just figure $15 with tax. If they are charging you $18 you are being over charged. You should look it up online for their store and challenge them on it. It should be the same in ALL of their stores.

They had gallons last year, should have bought. If the choice is Home Depot or Amazon, I'll buy from amazon anyways... $13.78. How many quarts do you think a whole trailer would take using this method? You can buy 4 packs delivered for about $55
