Thanks for posting Larry. My 4 year old and I watched it all the way through and I think I'll save my hvlp for the skin painting. Do you ever buy shellac by the gallon...my Home Depot only carries quarts and they are $18, so even in expensive California, you can still get extra soaked.

I was able to find shellac by the gallon once. Haven't done it since because it's just too much to deal with as far as handling is concerned. And I didn't save all that much money. I like the smaller quart size cans and I pay $13 and some change at Home Depot. I just figure $15 with tax. If they are charging you $18 you are being over charged. You should look it up online for their store and challenge them on it. It should be the same in ALL of their stores. |

They had gallons last year, should have bought. If the choice is Home Depot or Amazon, I'll buy from amazon anyways... $13.78. How many quarts do you think a whole trailer would take using this method? You can buy 4 packs delivered for about $55 |
