Hi, There is a late 60s Frolic camper that is available, relatively close to me, and the price is right. I went out to take a look and it seems pretty well built. There are no signs of any leaks at any of the ceiling border, and underneath all the windows looks good. The frame is pretty beefy too.. I cant seem to find out much info on these, and would love to hear if anyone here has any experience with them. On a side note, if I do get this Frolic, I will end up having 1 camper too many. The 2nd camper being a 1956 Lakewood, bought from a member here about 1 yr ago. It needs a frame up restoration, but is a really cool camper. My plan was to restore the Lakewood, but with a new job that will require all my effort and attention this winter, I cant afford the time to dedicate to it, whereas the Frolic, while not in perfect shape, is campable as it sits. I am located in Mass but the Lakewood is in RI. I am going to go out to see the Frolic again tomorrow, and make a decision. If I decide to get it, the Lakewood will be up for grabs, and I will post it in the for sale section then. In the meantime, any info on Frolics would be greatly appreciated!

Buy the frolic. You can't have 1 too many.

I hate to say it, but when I said the price was right I really meant it... FREE!!! Then this should be a done deal! Wachu wait'n' fer, man?? I remember only a bit about the Frolics. Seems they were built with 2X2 framing, rather than 1X2's, which made them more solid and most and heavier as well, but held up well with a little care. There was a member back on the old board, lopo, who lived in FL, and had gotten one. Seem Bo and Susan did some of the rebuild for her. It's been a while....
