hello everyone. our names are darryl and amanda. we had our very first baby 10 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago we made an epic road trip from santa barbara CA to coeur d alene ID to pick up our 1968 holiday rambler!! we are very excited and really love this coach! it was parked in weather ID and used during the summer so the guy didn't know much about it other then everything worked. drove it through oregon and it was wet so we had a couple little leaks. it has the rear bedroom! anyway i am taking all the windows out and re-sealing them. and the toilet is going to need replacing. also having a belly leak but can't seem to find out from where yet. seems like the did a little re-routing which i am trying to bring back the original way. any one know where i could find a rock guard?? the metal is there but a little bent, I'm gunna try and re-straighten it, and one of the arms is broken and the old fiber glass thing has a hole. thats a start please give me any and all info on this coach and ask any questions. i am ready to learn thanks darryl amanda and baby kodiak

Welcome to Vintageland!
Congratulations on the baby. 75 years from now she will be showing your great grandchildren photos of her as a baby in your 68 camper. They're going to think you're super cool.
Post some photos as you have questions.

Welcome!
I lived in a 72 Holiday Rambler for 6 months many years back! It was a very well made trailer. In fact, that's sort of when my Vintage learning curve started. The repair guy could NOT tighten gas lines properly, so I had to do it. Mine also had twins in the back with the mid bathroom.
Of course now days I'm more into "little" canned hams..
Enjoy the board.
