Hi all, I have recently bought what I think is a 66 Shasta. This is my first single axle canned ham type trailer. I have had several 5th wheels over the years, so I am used to trailer life. I do pipeline work and have lived in a trailer up to 11 months a year. I have owned 3 teardrops and currently redoing a 53 Benroy teardrop. My wife informed me she was not going to sleep in "that coffin" aka the Benroy. I found a decent trailer for a decent price and started in my amatuer way of getting it road worthy. I have been lurking here for months and gathering knowledge from you good folks. I have repaired the rafters in the trailer, and put new ceiling skins on the inside. I now have all the electricity working correctly. I also put down a new laminate floor and painted all of the cabinet doors. I have tried finding information on the refrigerator and how it works and the heater. I did however get the heater to working but still working on fridge. Stove works well as does all propane fixtures. I ranted long enough, just wanted to introduce myself. Oh yeah, I'm also an old guy who rebuilds old cars and motorcycles and I guess trailers sometimes. Thanks TP

Welcome to VTT! Post some pics. We just have to SEE what you've got! You have to link pics here. There is a photo tutorial if you need help! There is some info on appliances in the brochure section but Vikx, our admin, can usually answer those questions. She's smart like that And oh, none of us here are old. We're just mature.

tp Welcome to the world of nuts who play with old trailers. Also several of us play with old cars also. I have a 1941 Plymouth that I sometimes pull my Shasta with, also a 1919 T roadster hot rod. You will find many classic cars in the trailer pictures here.
