Hello! I'm an excited new owner of a Shasta 16 SCS! She's not in the best of shape However most of her is still together. I look forward for the next month or two to get her back on the road. I was excited to find this site and the wealth of knowledge it provides! I hope I don't annoy you all with all the questions I may have...lol

Welcome gijoe!
I'm going to tell you that it may take more than a couple of months to do proper repairs...
We are always willing to help, so question away.

That front panel is rotten and most likely the framing and curbing is in the same shape. Paint doesn't fix rotten wood. It just covers it up. You will need to remove the front window and metal skin to get to it.
And welcome to the forum!

Hey Joe, thanks for sharing these pics. Gotta love that stripe... We've got the same trailer! (almost) -- Let me know if you run across an owner's manual? If I find one, I'll post it here for all to share.
