Ok, we are finally finishing up Ginger. Our wings had spacers, but they are worn. Mobiltec had a great idea, found a video where he suggested using 1/2" fuel line. Ok, so our jrail wasn't cut out like some trailers. Our wings have 5 holes. Do i put spacers on all 5 holes or just the 3 towards the front and. It would seem I would attach the back 2 through the jrail. Also, it appears to cover the awning jrail. Pictures I have seen show the jrail covered. How will the awning work?Any help would be appreciated. Read more: vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/conversation/1671#ixzz3pPiredEs

My wings were made by Tyler Wings and came with a spacer for each hole. The spacers are a hard plastic and the screws go through the wing, spacer and skin to attach to the framing of the camper. My rear two screws were set about an inch in from the jrail, not through the rail. The rail sits behind the wing. As I understand it the awning stops before the wing. Basically as the rear begins to curve. I never actually used the awning rail. nastyshasty.blogspot.com/search/label/WINGS%20-%20For%20Sale%20%28Shasta%29

I tried moving them to avoid the j-rail and made a mess .
