My trailer is down to the bare frame between the frame and sub floor there was aluminium sheets badly corroded so i had to remove it is there anything else you can replace it with or does it have to be aluminium thank you in advance

Hi Andy, Actually it's better not to use metal for belly material. It tends to hold moisture and rot the floor and joists... The latest thing I tried was 1/8 masonite, coated on the underside. It is lightweight but sturdy enough to prevent road debris and water damage. The coating was Henry's Sealer and Damproofer. (Home Depot) AFter coating, I placed it on the metal frame and screwed it where floor joists were. I liked it well enough to use it again.
